Sandbox Definition

Sandbox is an isolated environment that developers can use to mimic the production environment and create simulated responses from all APIs the application relies on. The API sandbox makes it possible to reduce the cost and risk associated with calling 3rd party APIs during testing and other software development processes. Using the sandbox mode may help to greatly reduce the integration cost while keeping untrusted or malicious code at bay.

Using a sandbox mode to test software changes or API integrations means fewer problems during the testing and implementation phase.

Each Voucherify account comes with a sandbox project that can be used to test use cases and see Voucherify API in the live test project. To keep the account safe, each sandbox project has separate API keys used to authorize requests and responses. Sandbox projects have a limit of 100 API call per hour.
