Q4 2024 Product Update: Enhanced Demo Store Experience & Stamp Loyalty Programs

With Q4 in full swing, we’re here to help you seize every holiday opportunity. From essential Dashboard upgrades to new discount and loyalty features, Voucherify’s Santa (devs) has filled our holiday stockings with plenty of goodies.

Automatic loyalty rewards redemption

You can now set up rewards in your loyalty program to be automatically issued as vouchers when a customer reaches a specific number of loyalty points. This option allows you to run punch/stamp-like loyalty programs. For example, every time customers buy a coffee, they earn a discount code for a free coffee after collecting enough stamps.

Here’s how it works:

  • Sync your orders with Voucherify.
  • Build the loyalty program and set earning rules to award one stamp (loyalty point) for every coffee purchased.
  • Once a customer collects enough stamps, Voucherify will automatically generate a discount code for a free coffee and adjust their stamp count.
  • Plus, thanks to our distribution integrations, your customers will get notified in real-time when they earn their reward.

You don’t need to overhaul your existing setup. Simply mark a reward in your catalog as auto-redeem to enable this feature.

New Demo Store experience

All Voucherify projects come with a Demo Store, allowing you to see how the integration between Voucherify and customer touchpoints works in practice. You can use the Demo shop to test your campaigns and check how they work for test customers.

In the Demo Store, you can:

  • Run mock shopping journeys for different personas by adding products to cart and reviewing orders.
  • Apply discount codes, promotion tiers, gift vouchers, and loyalty points to cart.
  • Access customer wallets to view coupons, loyalty cards, gift cards, and all the other available incentives.
  • Check API calls to see what endpoints were used throughout the shopping journey.
  • Test validation rules for different products, SKUs, personas, regions, currencies, and more.
New feature – improved demo store experience

Loyalty & gift card transactions

All loyalty programs and gift card campaigns have an additional Transactions tab where you can monitor all transactions for all vouchers in a campaign. This allows you to see precisely all activity related to a specific loyalty card or gift card. We also ensure that it’s easy to export transactions via both CSV and API, by adding four new endpoints to quickly list and export results. 

Standalone coupons are now campaigns

You asked and we listened. We updated our approach for standalone codes turning them into campaigns. Now, when standalone vouchers are created, they will automatically generate a campaign, which means that you can save them as templates, assign them to specific Areas/Stores, and track their performance via the Campaigns Dashboard. Note that for now this change applies only to vouchers created through the Dashboard. Vouchers created via the API will not create campaigns – this is planned for future updates.

Updated pricing & extended trial period

In November, we updated our pricing to support your growth and ours. This change ensures we can continue delivering reliable promotion and loyalty solutions, scaling with your needs, and expanding features that truly make a difference.

We simplified things with three pricing plans based on the number of API calls and additional governance features:

  • Business
  • Organization
  • Enterprise

New feature – pricing update and trial extension

We’ll no longer offer free plans. This lets us focus all our energy on delivering the best experience for our paying customers. Instead, we’re doubling the trial period from 30 to 60 days

If you’re on a legacy plan now, don’t worry – nothing changes unless you decide to make updates. If you’re looking to upgrade, downgrade, or come back after canceling, you’ll choose from our new plans. We know pricing changes can feel like a big deal, and we’re here to make the process as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

New discount configurator

We’ve made the discount configurator easier to use. Now, when adding a discount, you can set its effects and details directly in a pop-up window for a smoother experience. We’ve also introduced a new discount effect: Apply discounts every X items. For example, you can now set a 10% discount to apply to every third T-shirt in a cart.

New feature – expanded and improved discount configuration experience

What’s coming in Q1 2025?

Looking ahead to Q1 2025, we’re excited to bring more improvements:

  • Pending loyalty points – currently, points are immediately available to customers once an order is completed. If the order is returned or canceled, the customer may have already used the points, requiring manual corrections to adjust the balance. By introducing delay period for earned points, they will be marked as "pending" and visible in the customer's account, along with the date or time they will become active.
  • Improved bundling experience – a new bundle configurator will be added to the discount builder, making the process of building bundles and BOGO deals much easier.
  • Reward as discount effect – we will enable the ability to define a reward as a discount effect. When a user qualifies for a promotion tier and redeems it, they receive a unique coupon code from a separate campaign. The system should publish the code and display the campaign name in the response after redemption. For simplicity, the behavior for coupon-based discounts should mirror this (redemption generates a reward).

New partnership – Infobip

Infobip is a global cloud communications platform that enables brands to connect with their customers across SMS, voice, email, and numerous instant messaging channels, such as WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram. 

By combining Infobip's communication capabilities with Voucherify's promotion management, you can drive engagement through personalized campaigns like birthday rewards, cart recovery, loyalty updates, and event-triggered offers. This integration also streamlines customer resolutions with appeasement codes, proactive problem-solving, and feedback incentives, ensuring impactful and timely interactions across preferred channels.
